Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

MerryRibbons is a very jolly dragon that is never seen without a strand of holly in her scales and a bell tied to her tail. She loves to dance the jig because it makes her bell jingle very merrily and all the dragons come out to watch. She has many friends and tries to distribute her time equally amongst them. Her favorite things to do are flying trips, hunting expeditions, Christmas caroling, decorating and many more activities that she can enjoy with a large group of dragons. One time she decided to surprise PowerfulClaw with a large pile of mice covered with a ribbon. Whenever the dragons find a tasty treat or pretty present all they need to do is look for a hidden ribbon on it and they know who gave it to them.
