Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This dragon has a big chip on his shoulder, and he isn't afraid to show it. Unluckily for him, his Elder tolerates only the smallest of chips, thus Sosrahgol has learned to hide his more violent nature. Despite being in a position of power among his kind, Sosrahgol does nothing to dissuade the opinion that being a Vampire means the dragon in question could easily become an enemy at any given moment. In fact, this dragon was probably the reason why the Coven had to create the Nightwatch, a group of nocturnal dragons with the ability to enforce laws created by the Elder.

Prone to hunger-driven rage outbursts, Sosrahgol has quickly become one of the more unpopular Vampire dragons within the Coven. Paired with his position of lieutenant, Sosrahgol has become one of the most feared Vampires within the Cave, and for good reason. The last time this dragon was challenged for his bloodthirsty behaviour, he killed three hatchlings and severely injured the Guardian dragon protecting them.
