Antarean Dragons are peaceful creatures shrouded in mystery. They are primarily found in the desert where they get most of their energy from sunbathing. Their most notable traits are their highly reflective manes and the mysterious light emitted by their scales which fades from bright, nearly blinding yellow-white into dim red as the dragons get older. Legend claims that they are otherworldly beings that came to this world when a meteor struck.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Sunrise Fluff has always been deeply fascinated by humans and human things. He spent a great many years living near a town and observing the people who lived there and their day to day lives. Something that interested him particularly were restaurants and cafes, places humans could go to get food or drink whenever they wanted to. He decided this was something that denizens of the desert could benefit from, and so sought out to create his own dragon operated version of one of these establishments.

The Antarean Oasis Cafe is what came out of this. It's located in a cave in the middle of an area dragons pass through regularly. For a small price they will give visitors food or beverages, as well as refuge from the desert sun. Sunrise handles most of the cooking (using fire magic) while his mate handles drinks. He has his employees travel to get supplies on a regular basis, since most of the things they use are not naturally available in the desert.
