Lihnseyre Dragons are innately in tune with the souls of creatures around them, informing these dragons of where and what life forms are near. These solitary creatures use this ability to evade others and watch from a distance, staying out of sight or soaring high up in the air. As they have a tendency to “see” and appreciate souls more than the actual wielders of said souls, they are rather detached in terms of emotional and personal connections. Though some tell stories of their anger and sorrow being washed away by these dragons or being freed from weariness, this is not out of inherent goodwill; they simply prefer the feeling of peaceful souls. While hard to anger, a Lihnseyre Dragon, once enraged, will unleash powerful magic to sever the soul tether—the connection between a being’s material body and its extra-planar soul—of the offender and effectively end their life with cold indifference.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Mirage may well be called the arrogant magician. He has a pompous complex that he is above others due to his ability to see and understand souls. Needless to say, he has many contentious relationships, including among his family. He and his mother, Soul, in particular, cannot stand to even be in the same room together. He'll often heal souls for attention, sometimes even charging others for the chance of experiencing true bliss or peace of mind. He'll even subtly influence the feelings of others around, either to make them more agitated or easy to manipulate. Some have picked on this, at least those that have a good enough understanding of souls, but plenty fall eagerly into his traps without knowing it. At the very least, Mirage is not violent. In fact, he hates violence of any kind and refuses to harm anyone (physically anyway.) Though more prone to anger than other Lihnseyre, Mirage has never used his magic to sever any ties between soul and creature. He's actually scared to so.
