Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Christine Vo Lovegood is, according to many dragons of her clan, one of the sweetest dragons around. She is very polite and nice to everyone, and gentle, tender, and sweet to those who are closest to her. Many males go chasing after her, but Christine Vo Lovegood doesn't think she's ready to have a mate yet. Rather, she politely declines them, but invites them to be her friends, which they eagerly do, hoping to please her. Many males try to impress her by bringing her elaborate gifts and flowers, but although Christine is flattered by all the attention she receives, she hasn't accepted any of the males that court her yet. Still, they won't give up, and even her light giggles when she receives their flowers is enough to make their hearts flutter and their minds garbled.
