An almost strictly nocturnal breed, Ciriax Lindwyrms are especially attuned to the moons’ cycles. They spend nights patrolling the edges of their territory, aggressively fending off intruders while they feast on their prey. After two or three nights of feeding, often around the time of at least one full moon, Ciriax Lindwyrms retreat to the recesses of their cave or underground homes. These dragons make it particularly difficult to travel on nights that are well-lit by moonlight, often to an unsuspecting adventurer’s dismay.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Two-headed dragons are unique enough to deserve a separate classification from ordinary dragons. They have two necks, two brains, two mouths, but one stomach and one main body. The two heads usually work together, but there are times when they will fight each other, snapping back and forth. Their unique anatomy prevents them from breeding with single-headed dragons.

User Description

This dragon has learned to blend the interests of her very different sides. One side is very studious and philosophical; the other prefers physical activity. Typically her more scholarly side will keep up a near-monologue while her more athletic side works out, giving occasional responses to the ongoing information coming at her.

While practicing hovering, GeekJock considers the topography below and the cloud patterns in the sky, then plans suitable exercises for the next couple of days based on her ability to predict the upcoming weather.

While flying at high speeds, GeekJock debates the seasonal merits of changing hunting grounds versus changing prey—at the same time as she scatters said prey across the countryside.

While digging deeper to expand her lair, GeekJock studies the rocks and crystals, fascinated by how they formed and can make patterns when carefully placed—at the same time as she tosses them haphazardly about.

Truly, this dragon is an odd juxtaposition of opposites.
