Neotropical Dragons are a breed that originate in rainforests. They are fun-loving and enjoy lounging on tree branches, eating whatever fruit they find. They are also often found sunning themselves on rocks, using their large wings to soak up the rays. In the summer, males compete for mates by showing off their striped wings and gliding in spirals down the tree trunks. It is said that the larger the wings, the more likely the male will attract a suitable mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Kaustie was never the perfect soldier Leena was. Perhaps that was why she managed to escape Creorluna's gaping maw.

She shares a similar story with many other victims of Izdati's madness. She was born in the Ferox clan; however her parents were slaughtered by Creorluna just after her birth and none of Ferox could afford to look after her. So they sent her to live in Elders; where she instantly bonded with Leena.

But then she and Leena were captured. Creorluna began molding them into Creors, their emotionless soldiers. For a time, Kaustie lost all hope of ever escaping. Then, one day, she tipped her head to the sky and watched in awe as a tiny blue jay escaped the clutches of a pursuing eagle against all odds. If one so small could beat fate like that, she could, too. She broke out by the years end due to some careful planning, but then the guilt set in. She forgot to help Leena escape as well.

Kaustie's story is not over. She still has a best friend trapped in the unforgiving cult.
