Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Zum—or, as many of the dragons call her, Madame Zum—behaves more like a mother hen than even the cave's resident chicken. One of the oldest four denizens of Yggijo's cavern, she watches her family and friends closely, and is well known for her habit of finding hoarded meat and jewels while replacing other dragons' bedding. To be at the receiving end of one of Zum's fiery tongue-lashings is a fate to be carefully avoided; however matronly she may seem, she knows curse words that younger dragons have never heard in all their centuries, and won't hesitate to use them against ill-behaving whippersnappers.
