Aww... It’s a cute baby drake. It almost never stops chirping.

Young drakes are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own.

Badku is Checkers' beloved little pet. The dragoness keeps carrying Badku around in a special purse especially made for that purpose, coos and frets over Badku and feeds him all kinds of unhealthy treats because he is 'sooooooo cute'. Checkers even had a freezing spell put on him so he would never outgrow his cuteness.

Badku lives in his comfy little purse and loves the friendly mistress who feeds him but he often hisses and snaps at any other of those huge scaly creatures if they come to close to her.
