Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

It wasn't very long ago that MiekoClan received the first egg. Rotten and soft, they had assumed the worst. Eventually it hatched into an equally repulsive hatchling and their hopes for it shrunk with each painstaking day. This thing became Ambrose. Now, back then he was literally the first of his kind in this Clan. So, being the first came with some advantages.. and some not very good ones either. Hatchlings went missing, their drained carcasses scattered. Hysteria spread to all the expecting she-dragons. So they kicked him out. Ambrose will never admit the betrayal he stills feels today. At the time, he caught a growing pain in his chest that left him somber and troubled. Surely it was loneliness. What better way to rid himself of it then to create another. He didn't plan on falling in love with it though, but he did. She, luckily, returned his affections. Ambrose discovered more about their condition and they plan on making a Clan of their own.
