Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Albino Stargazer is blind. When she hatched she stumbled around and the other dragons came to realize her disability. As they were debating her fate, A.S. fled. She took flight and landed with a splash into a huge lake.

Luckily for her, her best friend Orion's Waterwalker was there and caught the young hatchling before she could drown and put her by the water's edge. That night A.S.'s head was stretched up to thank the spirits who had saved her; Water had said nothing and this was the assumption made. She began to imagine her own constellations and with Blue's help she also includes the real ones. Now you can always find her staring up at the sky, imagining stars she will never see.
