Avatars of Change are unpredictable, exuberant dragons whose unique connection to magic has saturated their entire bodies. It is said that possessing one of their iridescent scales can change one’s fate, and many have sought the favor of these dragons hoping to receive a scale as a gift.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Sxudwo is a descendant of the noble blood of the Thuwed clan, but at first glance you would never know it since he doesn't brag about it like others with his shared ties do. He's modest, bubbly, and just plain fun to be around. However, he is very protective of his scales which are said to be able to change one's fate. This is because one of his friends, a vampire dragon by the name of Tutes, deceived him and tried to steal one of his scales while he was sleeping. A duel ensued, with the Avatar coming out on top. Outraged, the vampire cursed Sxudwo claiming that the Thuwed would pay with the blood of his children, dooming them to stalk the earth with the lust for blood and that the vampire personally would ensure that it happens. The vampire fled and vanished without a trace. Sxudwo, worried by the vampire's words did not ever pursue any love interests or courtship behaviors from females. That is, until he met a certain Celestial Dragon...
