Pink Dragons are primarily herbivores and only eat meat during the mating season, when mates will exchange kills. When it is not breeding season, pink dragons spend most of their time incubating eggs and caring for their clan’s young. Due to their feminine color, it was traditionally thought that pink dragons were a strictly female breed, but this is not true.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The first hatchling of Pinkamena and Pinkerton Pinkheart, Primo was raised like a prince.  Spoiled and fussed over as an egg, his parent's excitedly awaited his arrival.  Until in the dark of the night, a woman who was supposed to be his caregiver stole him.  She left him abandoned and alone, a beautiful egg of the purest pink.  When an unknown ageless journeyer found him and carried him in a satchel of velvet.  The journeyer begin to care for the egg as if it were a dragonkin of their own.  This mysterious journeyer also treated the egg like a rare jewel, having never seen an egg such as this one.  Just as the tiny infant started to crack his egg, a sealed scroll arrived and claimed him.  Having learned of his true identity, the tiny hatchling was given a name.  Now, as Primo grew into adulthood, he is a part of an extended family of dragons and being the first born, behaves like royalty.  Flying into the blue skies, protecting his family and beginning a quest of his own...
