As the nocturnal relative to Sunbeam Drakes, Moonglow Drakes are a secretive breed most active under the light of the moons and stars. They are wary of others, but are known to have incredible loyalty should their trust be won. Catching sight of Moonglow Drakes as they dance amid the moonlight is seen as a favorable omen by those they live near, and tamed individuals are common. They are slightly smaller than their cousins, averaging around the size of a cat.
Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.
User Description
Nyght Hawk, like the generalization of her species, is reserved, and tends to be quiet. However, when alone with close friends, she can become more active and outgoing. Despite being often chased away from human settlements, she refuses to let it get to her and often spends her free time watching humans. Nyght Hawk wishes to go meet and play with them, but she is too afraid to do so. She also really likes the taste of fish but is reluctant to go near the coast as she is afraid of meeting other dragons. She worries that she would be chased off or attacked. If she were better at fighting, Nyght Hawk believes that she would have the confidence to go to the coast, but her abilities aren't up to her expectations. Nyght Hawk likes to train with close friends in combat, in hopes of being strong enough to frequently visit the coast.
