Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

On December the 25th of 2010 it was raining badly. GiratinaOF was celebrating Christmas when there was very loud lightning. Suddenly there were two eggs near the cave in the rain. These eggs were later "Ribbon-Dancer" and "Ribbon Dragon".

Ribbon Dragon is smaller than Ribbon-Dancer. However, she seems to be the smarter lady. They are best friends and take care of each other. Ribbon Dragon, unlike her friend, loves flying and dancing in the night sky, even if it's raining and there's a storm. GiratinaOF often has to get her back in the cave with food. She's very brave and isn't scared of the bigger dragons. This makes her quite special as a small, female dragon.
