Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

This dragon was so-named by the dragon keeper Lorraine because of his resemblance in her mind to the creatures of an ancient gift-giving folktale.  Though she could easily have chosen one of a myriad other appropriate names, Lorraine had been feeling rather jealous that day of her patron's dancing autumnal dragon, Scarf Dancer, and decided that she would rather like to have a dancing dragon of her own.

Dancer never has been particularly festive, nor did he take well to the dancing lessons, but he is a solid and respected dragon in her caves.  He took well to the mint Orana Twinlost, and the two have been inseparable mates ever since, raising many a beloved child together.  This has sometimes led to him feeling more mature than his older and more wayward brother, Dasher, which is an uncomfortable feeling at best.
