Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

When this whiptail's egg was found, someone had scrawled 'b34R' on it in some form of indelible black substance. As it was uncertain if the marking was a warning, a statement of nature, or a mark of ownership, the egg was left alone until the hatchling inside broke shell, practically on its own.

The little one was so good-tempered that naming him after the marking on his shell didn't seem suitable. After all, who could take a dragon named something like Grizzly Bear or Polar Bear seriously, if all he wanted was head rubs and treats He was named Teddy Bear instead, for his demeanor and for his favorite stuffed toy. Though he does chew his namesake, nobody holds it against him; he's much too cute for that.
