Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It enjoys sunning itself in the morning light.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Isara does not know the meaning of fear. Literally. As the smallest and youngest of the family, he is constantly being watched and protected by his parents and older siblings. His teeth and claws are small but very sharp, so he can defend himself to to an extent; he won't be able to do any real damage of course, but most animals will think twice before attacking a hissing bundle of cockiness that doesn't have enough meat on its bones to count as a meal. And Isara is a true Sunrise Dragon, which means he is fast asleep by the time most of the more dangerous predators wake up, so he just has never seen anything to teach him the meaning of fear.
