White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Colonel's family has a very weird conception of how titles work, thus her unique name. Colonel completely lives up to her name though and shares her family's view on how this should work: she does everything her mother General tells her, but she doesn't listen to her grandmother Enlisted. She expects her daughter Major to follow her orders as well, of course.

It's a good thing Colonel and her mother know a lot about healing so they don't give stupid orders, or some of the patients would be in deep trouble.
