Electric Dragons wield electricity with great prowess. Bright sparks race across these dragons’ bodies in a dazzling dance of light, complemented by the blindingly radiant sparks on their tails. Using their bellies and manes as stores for this electrical energy, Electric Dragons wield crackling magic, stunning and electrocuting their prey with a whip of their tail. During mating season it is typically those with the most brilliant sparks—an indicator of strength and hunting ability—that are drawn to each other.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Sparky is a not particularly nice dragon. In fact, he enjoys zapping human beings until they are fried to a crisp. Most dragons in the area frown upon just going around killing other intelligent individuals, even if they are unsure if technically humans can be considered intelligent. To avoid the conflict with those of his brethren who might fry HIM into a crisp, Sparky has found himself a loophole. In several of the human duchies around the area it is the law that violent criminals are to be put to death and Sparky is more than happy to provide an entertaining (to him) and terrifying (to the human onlookers) alternative to public hangings.
