White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Asquin is deeply shy to the point of seeming uncaring, but her apparently cold nature hides a deep desire to help others.  She tried settling down in a small dragon community, in hopes that her shyness would lessen with time and exposure, but gave up when she realized she could still barely form a complete sentence around adult dragons whose parents she'd treated for hatchling illnesses.  Asquin has found better luck as a traveling healer, largely because anyone desperate enough to need the services of a wandering healer isn't going to care too much about bedside manner (or lack thereof).  She also finds it a little easier to talk to dragons she'll likely never see again than to ones she sees every day.
