And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Iduma is quite the hotheaded individual, taking after his father more than his mother. He's quick to perceive insult and react in kind. Nico doesn't know how to teach him anything other than basic fighting techniques he had learned in the military. Gyulia's attempts at teaching him wisdom and patience have so far not worked. Iduma's short temper extends even to his parents. Right now, they hope it's just a phase he'll outgrow.
