Flamingo Wyverns are so named for their resemblance to the tropical birds with whom they often share territory. Their most striking feature is the bony black crest over their faces and snouts, smaller in females, aiding both in digging up food and protection from attack. Females are noticeably brighter than males due to their habit of not straying far from particularly algae-rich feeding grounds.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

As her name would imply, Romance is... well... a romantic. She adores stories of courtly love and chivalry which inspire her to take up matchmaking. However, a Valentine Dragon she is not. For as enthusiastic as she is, Romance is not a great choice if one is searching for a matchmaker. She tends to give herself way too much credit and doesn't pay enough attention to the nuances of others' behavior. As such, her pairings are ridiculously unsuitable for one another. But this never seems to deter her efforts, either because of blind determination or stupidity. It's also probably because of her cousin, Val, whom she is very close with. The two of them love getting together to gossip and ship, though in a wholesome, innocent sort of way. Val encourages Romance's efforts, even when they go horribly awry. In turn, Romance cheers Val on in her own efforts. While most Mingo cousins don't acknowledge each other, these two act as close as siblings. Romance seems closer to Val than her siblings.
