Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

A pale dragon soared above the forest on huge wings, the sun seeming to filter through her colourless body. Her eyes gleamed red, and the black pupils were round and curious. But behind them lay a bitter past that she was slowing putting behind her.

Other dragons left her alone for some time, occasionally glancing up at her in all her glory. Pretty soon the blue sky changed, and red, purple and orange lit the edges of the albino dragon, painting her skin. The gathering clouds were gradually darkening and it wasn't long before a storm was looming over the landscape. When the rain started, others joined the albino among the lightning, and a match of 'dracfurich', a dragon game rarely seen by humans, began.
