Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. This hatchling is impatient. He could not wait to grow up. However, his growth is stunted. He is kind but snappy, and he loves to play. When he is eating, he is very content and the only thing he snaps at is his food. He likes to play in piles of sand. He also likes to wrestle with other hatchlings.
