When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

The Orle-annia is a guild dedicated to upholding the ancient dragon tradition of hoard-keeping. The guild boasts a massive group treasure hoard containing all sorts of riches. Members are required to add to this pile once a month in exchange for the freedom to take whatever they want from it. Dragons that keep hoards with the Orle-annia often have oddly specific collections.

Arveldir's hoard is not unique in content, but in location. Deep beneath the Earth, in a cavern that houses one of the largest underground lakes on Galsreim, his treasures rest undisturbed. The cavern was once home to a major smuggling operation and, although he didn't sink any of them himself, the hollow bellies of the countless wrecked ships make for a rather spectacular lair. It is unclear what happened to the pirates that used to frequent this lake. Arveldir suspects that whatever lived here before him did not take kindly to the intruders.
