Serrati Wyverns are a fierce breed of dragon typically found in volcanic areas or in desert scrubland. With their keen vision, these fearsome predators can pick out well-camouflauged prey from the slightest movement. They are named for the double rows of serrated teeth that line their beaks, which allow these wyverns to maintain an unbreakable grip on prey while they tear into their target with deadly hooked claws. Though these dragons are combative with nearly everything, they are surprisingly well-mannered when raising their offspring in communal nests. Males, however, tend to be chased off as soon as eggs are laid.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Yoru no fukuro no shi is a lethal dragon who hunts only in the dead of night. Her name not only comes from the time of day that she hunts, but also the fact that she flies on silent wings when she does so. She is always well fed thanks to her hunting skills and abilities. Those in her Clan are also fat and happy as they have the best hunter on the whole mountain. The female hunts at least every couple of nights, if not every other one.

Her name means 'Night Owl Killer'.
