Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It perfectly depicts winter weather.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

A strong minded, proud and sometimes feisty little hatchling. She adores the snow and loves playing with her best friend Lucky Light, wrestling and rolling around in whatever good snow they can find. During winter these two are inseparable. But when winter goes, so does Lucky. This makes Edurne, or Edurna as Lucky calls her, very upset and she has more than once argued with Lucky about it. Lucky tries to explain to her that he simply must leave. Edurne still doesn't understand, but she no longer yells at Lucky about it.  

During the rest of the year, Edurne seeks comfort from her mother and other friends. She knows that he will be back next winter, and eagerly awaits it, but she still can't help always feeling the deep longing to have him by her side.
