Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Thutar is a somewhat solitary creature, preferring to stay hidden in the back of the cave with the eggs. Though he may look fierce, he is a very gentle dragon, especially to the eggs and younger hatchlings. However his temper does get the best of him sometimes, causing him to beat the ground with his tail; sometimes this kills some of eggs causing him to brood and become quite depressed for a few days.
