Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Ever since it hatched, the sky has been full of very dark clouds.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Speciment Fogs Meany got his name as soon as he hatched. Right out of the egg his rotten personality showed as he chased after fellow hatchlings and snapped at anyone that came near. He preferred to stay alone away from the others, scheming all sorts of evil things he would do when he was full grown. But without warning his owner froze him before he could even grow his wings. Speci was shocked by this and went into a deep state of depression for many days. Until finally something in him clicked and his entire personality changed. He decided that being frozen was a good thing. Speciment also became friendlier knowing that the grown dragons would protect him since he would forever be weak. Though he does has his "meany" moments, he has come to accept his fate.
