Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Aespy, one of the primary healers, mainly deals with cases of frostbite, as there's always some novice who thinks that having ice magic grants one immunity to the cold. She has tried to create informative lectures, complete with detailed pictures, to knock some sense into the trainees, but has found that young dragons tend to have as much common sense as a concussed ochredrake and usually think themselves invulnerable.
