And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Accept is one of the kindest hatchlings, a truly peaceful and generous soul. She frequently assists the more outgoing hatchlings in planning for expeditions and games, and she'll always be there during the actual event to make sure that everyone's having fun and playing fair. Mature beyond her years, Accept is an absolute blessing to the adult dragons who watch the hatchlings, since her observance gives them a chance to rest every now and then. It's just too bad that the other hatchlings call her a tattle-tale as a result.
