Stone Dragons have a tough outer covering made of a stone-like material. They eat rocks, using the minerals they contain for nourishment and to keep up their stone outer shell. They rarely move, and are the heaviest of all types of dragons. Although they have wings, indicating flight ability, no one has ever seen a stone dragon flying.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Cloudoba comes from a noble line of stone dragons that reappeared out of dormancy with the blood of Granitina, a stone dragon who fell in love with a dragon of gold. This rich blend of virtue flowed through generations of gold dragons before the stone reappeared, and Cloudoba's earthbound family are highminded and virtuous.

Cloudoba himself was born with a fanciful disposition, and he would wander in the wilds and look up at the sky or the stars. It was during one of these wanderings that he met Miseia winging gracefully in the moonlight, and he thought her beautiful beyond the dragons of his kin. He lured her from the wilds with his handsome strength and courted her affections, and the attraction between them was so strong that they soon were mated.

Sometimes, wistfully, Cloudoba wonders if a similar dance had not played out between Granitina and her golden lover.
