Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Its eyes glow brightly at night, and it enjoys attacking insects and small animals.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

For a hatchling, this young one seems too energetic and strong. It also looks as if he's an adult, only in a Hatchling's body. He fears no foes and steps in to Battle to protect everyone most closest to him. Once hatched, the young Dragon was rejected by it's owner- Black Moonbeam, and it's parents- Kurotaiga and Kurokaen. The hatchling was left alone in the Cave full of Grown Dragons. However, he was found by a person who accepted him. The hatchling grew it's wings, but was never be able to fully mature, for the loss of his parents has Cursed him. He will never be able to leave his Childhood form and it will always keep on reminding him of the Past. Although, his mind still continues to grow. Kuronnai now grows to Protect, not to Destroy. His most closest are Arino Blackpearl and Merrow Qualdanas, for he accepts them as his new Parents and they accepted him as his real son. Kuronnai and Shane Qualdanas are now bond together as brothers and Best Friends.
