Moonstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. They are nocturnal and gather energy through the absorption of moonlight with their orbs. They seem to glow with a lunar light and are a very gentle breed, feeding off of plants and the moons’ power.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Tunglio, for a time, loved a dragon named Mecru. In return, Mecru loved her back. They had one egg that they loved, but they could not save it from its death, as they did not have enough food to give to it. After the egg had perished, Mecru left Tunglio. Left to find a mate who matched his proud lineage, and left Tunglio to her sorrow over losing her egg, and over losing him. Mecru, being arrogant, brought his new mate to see Tunglio. Poor Tunglio no longer loves the dragon Mecru, she hates his very existence.
