Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Stone Dragons have a tough outer covering made of a stone-like material. They eat rocks, using the minerals they contain for nourishment and to keep up their stone outer shell. They rarely move, and are the heaviest of all types of dragons. Although they have wings, indicating flight ability, no one has ever seen a stone dragon flying.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
When completely still, Sacred Keep looks like an immense dragon statue with eyes of uncut ruby. His bones have the ability to lock in place, and remain so for very long periods of time. Keeper, as he prefers to be called, can commonly be seen in the back of the scroll cave looming over the eggs. He is normally seen as a statue, front legs raised in the air and wings outstretched, tail wrapped around the eggs and, at times, hatchlings. If anybody but a scroll dragon or the scroll owner touched the young dragonlings, Sacred Keep would bash them away with his stony wings, returning swiftly to his locked form. Keeper feeds on the uncut stones the scroll owner brings him, although the last time he ate was a few months ago. The hatchlings love to climb onto Sacred Keep and see who dares to go the closest to Keeper's locked open maw.
