Black Tea Dragons have small scent glands on the underside of their wing arm that release a pleasant scent. Though many creatures enjoy being in the vicinity of Black Tea dragons, the scent is intended to draw in swarms of butterflies. Though Black Tea dragons are full sized dragons, these insects are the mainstay of their diet.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Outside of the forest of Blackwood there lies a sunken scrap of land, a place of damp smells and the rotted remains of trees. It was once a holy place, home to no small number of saintly graves, but after the ill-regarded Bishop of Tercozin was buried there the sun never shone on it again. Still, every now and then people go there to remember, and to look for the bones of martyrs, and every now and then when they do they encounter her. Descriptions vary with the teller, but the general tale is as thus: a great burgundy dragon with pale red eyes, and a whole flock of dark butterflies around her head, watching them from the mist. Smiling a great yawning smile that seems to go on forever and ever, calling one into the dark.

Some dismiss the figure as no more than an ordinary black tea dragon, made ferocious through anxiety and overreaction, but they still have no explanation as to why only half of those who visit the hollows ever come back.
