White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Maah Pishoni spends most of her time in the clan's cave, healing the wounds of the adults when the return home from hunting.  She is as gentle as any of her kind and her days are taken up by lying in the back of the cave with the hatchlings, allowing them to climb on her, chase her tail, and chew on her feathered wings.  Though she does not like fighting herself, she allows the young ones to fight with each other, knowing that they will have to grow up to be hunters and defenders for the clan one day.  In the evenings, when most of the adults have come home, she leaves the cave to slip through the moonlit forest, foraging for berries and tender leaves.
