Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It was born with a full set of wings.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Ray is a strange hatchling that has most obviously inherited his father's insanity and dancing moves. On top of that, he has his mother's prejudice against everything undead.

Grievous resolutely refuses to even be near Ray, and will do whatever he can to get away from him. Many believe that this is because Ray tends to scream a song in Grievous's ears whenever the Wyvern is around, a song that goes somewhat like this:

"Clank clank clank, there goes the Grievous! Bang Bang Bang, isn't he so LOUD! Wah Wah Wah, he cries like a baby when he loses a battle! Grr Grr Grr, he roars when he hears my song!!"

Ray also tends to make up songs like this whenever he is around a Separator. This could be why none of them will show up for a battle if the Republicators bring him along.
