Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Horizon has always been a very competitive dragon. He especially loved to race, mostly because he always knew he would win. Also a bit seductive, he always tries to compete with the other males to win the females over. Jokingly, of course. His mate would be very mad at him if anything else happened, mostly because of jealousy. Horizon is not just a good racer. He finds himself good at anything if he puts his mind to it. Always very confident of himself, he believes in the phrase, "you can do it when you put your mind to it." Often seen being the center of attention, he boasts about his skills, and makes sure that he is always number one; to his mate, and his friends.
