Pink Dragons are primarily herbivores and only eat meat during the mating season, when mates will exchange kills. When it is not breeding season, pink dragons spend most of their time incubating eggs and caring for their clan’s young. Due to their feminine color, it was traditionally thought that pink dragons were a strictly female breed, but this is not true.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Jewel Pinkwing is a very sweet and caring dragon. Her voice sounds very soft and sweet. Some dragons think she's too girly, but she doesn't care. When there is a new egg in the clan she loves to influence it, even if the other dragons and her owner wanted it to be male. She flies around sending sweet messages to other dragons, sometimes making them happy or just plain annoying them. The messages are often something like, "Hello, sweetie. Teehee!" or some other sweet message. She never gets angry, but instead bursts out crying when she gets into a fight or something unhappy happens. Jewel adores anything pink, and hates dark colors.
