Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

No dragon could be further in personality from her parents; unlike cold Gagiel or careless Aeilen, Ioniel is deeply attached to her family.  Raised by Archeia and Iophiel in stead of her absentee mother, Ioniel is playful and sweet.  She enjoys basking in the shallows and catching fish for her family and the hatchlings of the cave.  She would love to have eggs of her own one day, but she fears she may be as terrible a mother as her own, in a completely different way; plus, she's so bashful as to be unable to approach a male by herself.
