Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Responsible and brave, Fereth is often seen policing other dragons to keep fights from breaking out in his home. Being one of the first dragons hatched in the Mizani cave, he was quick to pick up a leadership role. He acts as the judge, and most dragons come to him with their problems to avoid being kicked out of the cave due to fighting and warring with others in the relatively peaceful community. Fereth is one of the six faction leaders, helping to sort willing dragons into the jobs and niches that best fit them for the good of the cave. He trains those that want to join the inner guard; dragons that keep the peace inside of the cave and prevent squabbles from tearing the cave apart.
