Fire Gem Dragons are a colorful, flamboyant breed often found in hot climates, particularly around active volcanoes. Their broad tails store the flames they breathe, which are colored by the heavy amount of minerals in the water they drink. These dragons come in a variety of colors, and will collect shiny trinkets and stones that match their own coloration. Despite their hoarding tendencies, though, Fire Gem dragons are social and will often congregate in groups and show off their collections while fawning over the stones their friends and rivals have gathered, occasionally arranging trades.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

As a young hatchling, Agh There are Bovines wandered a bit too far from her home. She stumbled upon a grassy field in which strange creatures grazed. They had horns and at first she thought they might be dragons who had not yet grown their wings, but attempts to communicate earned her a loud "Moo" at best and an angry snort at worst. Being tired, she took a nap near the edge of the field, planning to head home soon after. However, while she was sleeping the strange creatures suddenly stormed across the field, shaking the ground until she awoke to find them bearing down on her. They made such a ruckus that she turned and fled. Terrified, she returned home, where she learned from an older dragon that these strange creatures were known as cows, or bovines. She never forgot that moment when she thought she would be trampled, and to this day she avoids bovines and the fields where they graze.
