As the nocturnal relative to Sunbeam Drakes, Moonglow Drakes are a secretive breed most active under the light of the moons and stars. They are wary of others, but are known to have incredible loyalty should their trust be won. Catching sight of Moonglow Drakes as they dance amid the moonlight is seen as a favorable omen by those they live near, and tamed individuals are common. They are slightly smaller than their cousins, averaging around the size of a cat.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Endeavor is a rather outgoing dragon, and a behaves a bit oddly for a Night Glory Drake.  Despite his small size, he'll be one of the first to stir from the treetops once the sun sets, and is often the first to dive out of the tree in search for a meal.  He visits an elderly old couple who live nearby, sometime even entertaining them with a aerial display: flashing his wings, and singing to them.  His cavemates jokingly refer to him as a Day Glory Drake reversed, but he doesn't mind.  He's too busy endeavoring to be the most lively Night Glory Drake the caves have ever known.
