Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s clear that night is its favourite time.

And look! It has grown wings and turned red on its back! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Tencor was never a social dragon, but he was always very crafty and loves to make things with his paws. He spends candlelit nights alone in his little den, making tiny trinkets and jewelry out of whatever he can find. One spring evening he started making tiny crowns out of flowers and other foliage. These "flower crowns" became quite a hit in certain groups within the clan, and the Tinsels continued to wear them even after the trend faded.

Christmas time is Tencor's favorite time of the year, because he can gift his many creations to all dragons in the clan. He's often chosen to decorate and create the topper for the always-festive Leetle Tree every year.
