Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Eyes glazed over with bitterness and hatred, yet not completely shielding the wise old stare he gives. With a condescending stare, he watches other dragons play amongst themselves, measuring the distance between them with beady eyes. Few tread near a creature such as he, and all that did were painfully subdued to his fangs. Slowly he rises, stretching out the magnificence of his wingspan into the lazy moonlight, and becoming a sinister shadow amongst the wilderness. He had not chosen this lifestyle. Growing up alone and feared for the species he was, a bramble of thorns grew around his steel heart that closed off any regret. What was he before he became this He hardly cared anymore. No longer came the sleepless nights and bubbling hate for his own kind. For what they did to him. He knew that it was no fault of their own. They needed to breed somehow. Over the years he'd rather grown to appreciate the relationship between him and the cave. He was a monster, a feared monster.
