Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Young as he is, Kvall Nightbreeze is a skilled hunter and fighter. Many females have set their eyes on him already because of his looks, but Kvall would much rather spend his time increasing his strength and his skills, ignoring most of the females. It is said that only the most beautiful female amongst dragonkind will be able to temper his eagerness to hunt and fight, but most are unsure whether he will ever settle down, even if a dragon like that would be interested in him. <br/>Even so, Kvall has been seen with a black female dragon more and more often lately and he, for the first time in his life, seems to give this female quite some attention instead of ignoring her and continue the hunt for food, so that some now believe he is finally ready to settle... although the hunter spirit will probably never fade away completely.
