Horse Dragons have equine-shaped bodies and hooves instead of claws, which allow them to be fast runners. They specialize in running takeoffs, which are quicker than taking off from a stand-still. Horse dragons are able to stalk their prey from the ground then quickly execute an aerial attack for the kill.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Neeka is not your average Horse Dragon. She was only a hatchling at the time, but she remembers well the disrespect with which the others treated her and her family. Her mother was a Thunder Dragon, and, in the Herds, mixed-breeds are looked upon with disgust and malice. If it weren't for her father, they wouldn't have even allowed her to join the Gathering. When the storm hit, Neeka and her father were seperated. She tried to look for him, but only managed to get lost in the forest. When the storm had passed, Neeka had just found the path leading to the field when she heard muffled sobs. She found a small Horse Dragon hatchling, just a little younger than herself, hiding in a honeysuckle bush. Teeka was so scared that she had to be calmed down before she would follow Neeka to the field. Neeka herself had been a little frightened when they couldn't find their families. Now she's a strong, stubborn adult. She's secretly glad that she never had to go back to the Herd.
