Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Okyan is a tomboy. Without a doubt she is one of the toughest dragons, male or female, you'll ever find. Like most of her kind she is extremely sensitive to the son and prefers to live in moist, or humid environments. While she is not the most beautiful dragon in the world, her "I'm all that!" attitude and loyalty to her friends and family makes her a desirable mate for any male that even glances her way. Problem is, Okyan is a bit unhappy with the idea of finding a mate. She wants children, yes, but she's not sure if she can stand to have an over-bearing husband to go with the package.

Any male dragons who want this feisty girl's heart are going to have to work for it. More importantly, Okyan tries to avoid the "dating" scene and will spend most of her time finding new challengers to compete with. Being so vivacious, battle may be the only thing that she can relate to her male contemporaries with.
